Functions/Services:
It functions as per the rules and regulations made by the State Government from time to time. It offers education to the students of +2 and UG in Arts, Science and Commerce streams. It also provides education to the students of PG in English and Odia. Excluding this, it also provides opportunities to the students in the fields of extracurricular activities.
Duties:
It imparts quality education to the rural youth with social commitment and academic ambiance. It brings revolution with innovative practices in the class room teaching. It also provide education with latest teaching learning tools in the class room teaching, in seminars , workshops and provides ample opportunity for the students to operate the tools. It takes active parts in co-curricular and extracurricular activities to have a better exposure in the competitive job environment . It empowers and supports students through quality education enabling them for the significant contribution towards socio-political and economic development of the nation. It helps to realize the potentialities of the students and enable them to meet the changing needs of the time. It inculcates in them social, moral and spiritual values as well as scientific temper, and to build character of the students through all round development of personality and makes them responsible citizens.

It is a Non-Government Aided Institution. It is approved by UGC, New Delhi under Sec 2(f) and 12(B). It is also recognized by Govt. of Odisha, and affiliated to the Fakir Mohan University, Balasore.

Working Hours: College office: 10.00 am to 5.00 pm, Class time: 9.15 am to 5.00 pm
Holidays: The college shall remain closed on Public Holidays as declared by Department of Higher Education, Government of Odisha.
COURSES OFFERED: +2 and UG in Arts Stream (Economics, English, Education, History, Odia, Logic/Philosophy, Political Science, Sanskrit), +2 and UG in Science (Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology), +2 and UG in Commerce. Courses on Ethics and Values, Communicative English, and Quantitative Analysis and Logical Thinking are value added courses.
